Who Checks These Pages, and What We Are Not Allowed to Tell You
We read published specs, recall notices, standards and owner feedback. We are not a certification body, a technician, or a clinician - and our guides say so on the page, not only here.
Every guide on this site is assembled from public documents and measured facts. When a question moves from 'what does this product say' to 'what should I do for my child', the answer stops being ours to give.

no manufacturer supplies a verdict or a draft

no executable installation parameters, ever
01 / Scope
What we are qualified to do
We compare the numbers a manufacturer publishes against the numbers a standard requires, then check both against recall databases and owner reports. That is desk research, and we say plainly when a claim cannot be verified.
Product names, model codes and specification lines are descriptions of a catalogue record. They are not a recommendation to buy, fit or install anything.
02 / Boundary
What we are not
We are not a certification body, a Child Passenger Safety Technician, a paediatrician, or a legal adviser. Nothing here is professional installation advice, medical advice, or a substitute for the instructions that came with your product.
For any decision that affects a child's safety in a vehicle, check the vehicle and product manuals and ask a certified technician. We deliberately do not publish executable angles, torque values, or age and weight thresholds as instructions.
03 / Process
How a page is cleared
A page is drafted from source documents, checked against the catalogue record it cites, and re-read for advice language that crept in. Where two sources conflict, the disagreement stays on the page instead of being averaged away.
When a manufacturer changes a specification or a recall is issued, the affected page is corrected and the correction is dated. Corrections are not silently folded into the original text.
Which documents we read, in what order, and what makes us discard a claim.
